2011 POLITICAL ENDORSEMENT LIST
I urge every member to get out the vote on Tuesday November 8, 2011. I have put up a list of candidates from all over Long Island that have received the endorsement of Laborers Local 66 & MTDCPAC. You may not see your particular elected officials or candidates on that list. If you have any questions, I would urge you to call me.

Election Season 2011
It is election season again on Long island. There are elections in every Town and in both Counties with less than 15 days left before we go to the polls and vote. Local 66 is recognized across Long Island as a strong political voice. As your PAC Representative, I can only do so much. My strength when I visit with elected officials is you.
Each and every one of you has been a beneficiary of the hard work that is conducted every day by the PAC & Local 66 Staff. We need each and every member over the next 15 days to volunteer their time to help us help you! Please keep checking this page for upcoming political walks, phone banking and the list of our political endorsements. Thank You! - Pete Zarcone
Welcome! I would like to welcome you to the Political page of the Local 66 website!
These pages will be used to give you updates on issues that are important to you. When Laborers need to be heard on political issues that affect them PAC answers the call. Whether it is a Local Town Board Member or a U.S. Federal Senator your PAC representative is there. Laborers Local 66 is by far the most proactive union on Long Island in the Political arena, and building ground every day! To give you an idea of the Political Arena I have a breakdown of the governments in Both Nassau and Suffolk Counties. Nassau County is comprised of 2 Cities, 3 Towns, 64 Incorporated Villages and over 100 unincorporated areas. Suffolk County is comprised of 10 Towns, 32 Incorporated Villages, & 138 hamlets.
On occassion we will update this page and the PAC News page with information about our upcoming elections and political action. Please pay attention to these update as they are important to every member and their families. If there are any members that are interested in getting involved in their local communities and need help getting started please reach out. Please check the PAC NEWS page for the most current Poltical Action Updates. Thank you and be proud to be union.
