Local 66 Scholarship Fund
The Scholarship Program is available to eligible members whose dependent child will be graduating high school and will be attending an accredited two or four year college or university as a matriculated student. This is for current high school seniors; this is not available to students who have previously graduated high school. The Scholarship will be in the amount of $2,000.00 per year for a two or four year course study. A total of four scholarships will be awarded each June.
Additionally there is another scholarship available to members of Local 66 dependent children for $2,000.00 per year for four years through the Industry Advancement Program of the Building Contractors Association. Please click to access that information.
Applications for the academic year beginning in August/September are available October 1st and must be submitted to the Scholarship Committee by February 1st of the year the student is graduating high school. A section of the application must be completed by the student then given to his/her guidance counselor, no later than November 30th, who will complete and forward this application to the Scholarship & Recognition Program. (Applications received after February 1st will not be considered.)
