66 helping to preserve a piece of history

Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone & Legislator Kate Browning announced that they are planning repairs for the Homan-Gerard House. The house was placed on the national registry of historic sites in 2008. Bellone said at a press conference that despite budget constraints, it is important to preserve the counties past. While Bellone moves forward with the Legislature on the budget, it's nice to see that they have their eye on preserving a piece of Suffolk's history in Yaphank. We are eager to get the job done and proud to do it.
